Civil Society Promoting Vaccination across the life-course
Once again the Malta Health Network is actively participating in the initiative of Active Citizenship Network (ACN) in promoting #VaccinAtion 2025. This project is a follow-up on the past campaign #Vaccinaction. #VaccinAction 2024 continued with the commitment to advocating for the need to strengthen adult vaccination in Europe. Through this project, ACN together with other activate stakeholders engaged with European institutions and inform EU policy.
More details about the project and the contribution of the Malta Health Network to the project can be accessed through this link. Event held in October 2024.
Furthermore, MHN, as a long-standing partner of ACN, will participate in a Policy Lab session aimed at patients and civil society organisations, organised as part of the EU-funded co-OPERATOR project, in which ACN participates representing citizens and patients.
The aim is to translate the insights from the co-OPERATOR project into concrete vaccination policies to address hesitancy towards the COVID-19 and flu vaccines in the EU.
The Policy Lab initiative is led by Maastricht University with the support of the Active Citizenship Network, the Cyprus University of Technology and the Centre for European Studies and Initiatives (CESIE) and brings together citizen and patient representatives, healthcare professionals, policy makers and public health experts to promote meaningful discussions.
